yep.. i was so TOTALLY when i first saw the ad on animax.. so i went online to check whether i was lao hua or something.. haha but i guess it's betta than not showing at all? maybe we could write in to ask them to change it to a more accessible channel such as ch 8 or ch U?

Nah they won't do that, at least as of now since the fanbase in Singapore is still much much too small

agree... but i think that not kind of possible
ch 8 promoting local dramas while ch U focus on Taiwan & Korean... and coming up... HK dramas too

the jap fanbase most prob wont get any bigger since the media realli advertise on jdorama anymore and therefore the shops arent selling many jdorama.. it's all linked.. w/o much promotion of jdorama, i realli doubt the fanbase will increase
so i guess it's up to us to psycho the ones around us then

actually PSP is very useful for me now, cause I often travel on mrt and buses to school, so I'll just convert Japanese Dorama to my PSP =)
as for ways to brainwash my friends to watch Jdorama, I'll see my friends individual character on what stuff they like then intro related dorama to them, like I've friends who are into Piano or Guitar or Music I'll intro them to Taiyou no Uta and Nodame Cantabile =D

Hopefully 1 day one day Singapore will go back into the Japan Craze again =(
