 As far as romantic comedies go, can't help you there.  I like goal oriented dramas.  You know, where the heroine has to get over obstacles to achieve her goal.  Ueto Aya is really good at those.  Attack No. 1 is cool.  Attention Please is great.  Ace wo Nerae is really good.
