lol.. in koreanfilm forum oso have this kind of discussion.. if u ask this kind of question in jdorama forum.. i think the most answer u'll get is ppl prefer jdorama ... .. but if u go to kdrama forum, its predictable if they prefer kdrama over jdorama.. Wink http://www.koreanfilm.org/htdocs/dcforum/DCForumID3/4549.html

but to me... i like both.. Mr Green Wave

Abit of everything is nice but the market in singapore is being flooded by K dorama. Alot of housewives like the predictable plot and family values pump into them. Sure miss the days where you could go to any vcd shop to get the newest j dorama. Sad

Thks for the compliments. It took me sometime to find that avatar. Alot of pics on the net with kimura, the other members of smap take a while longer to find.
If you have a rental shop near you, you can try asking the owner whether he is willing to sell some of his old j dorama. Most times they are because they feel that there is no longer a demand for it, they often have spare copies too.
I got an old dorama Risou no kekkon thru this way. If you dont mind second hand of course. Smile

Ya... obviously we LOVE japanese dorama over Korean drama.

Lovey Eyes

I tried to watch some korean drama when it just hit our shore, but I couldn't help but fall asleep. Hee~

When I try to watch "qiu tian de tong hua", I couldn't help to notice how the two main roles take a century to meet. It is really very fustrating when they keep on missing each other Angry Maybe it is a characteristic of kdrama. :p

One more thing... just wonder do anyone feel that props in jdorama looks more modern than kdrama? erm... i am wondering is it really the props or just me. :p

Jdramas and kdramas are different...depends on what you prefer...jdramas is more on the quirky, funny and light hearted side...kdramas is more serious specially when it comes to romance....and that tends to get boring... Sweat But there is a korean drama that's really nice and funny...called My Love Patjji...you guys must watch it..I think it's better than beach boys..dun kill me now.. Google

A lot of jdramas take place in the city...and japan is a very modern country..compared to korea..korea still has slums..i dun mean it in a bad way though.. Crazy
