It seems that some chinese students get some special "death note" paper and joke around with writing teacher's names they want to kill. I say it's a little too far cause i might say "i want him to die" as a joke but then writing their name in a book that says you should die is over doing it. What do you guys think?

From where I live (Philippines) there is a store called Comic Alley where they sell actual Death Note notebooks for cosplay purposes, but it's like the real thing. There are rules too, and some excerpts from Light's note. I bought one and I also wrote down names of people I wish would just disappear.

Demo ne, I only wrote two names! Promise! So that still makes me kind-hearted ne?

this is a debatable issue. I think this has turned into a Death Note Movie situation!

I'm gonna stand by L's side and say that I'd condone using a Death Note. I'm also tempted to put down people I hate but the law has to bring justice. Using a Death Note breaks the laws by letting one person control nearly unlimited power. Laws were put in because humans aren't perfect and they need something to bring order. A Death Note supposedly "brings order" but then in fact, it brings disaster. Light got greedy and starting killing anyone who opposed him. Even those that opposed him were part of the FBI, trying to bring justice to the murderer Light.

Well, most of my opinion is similar to that of the movie's

Given for free when i bought my local manga magazine and as the name of
free item, the book looks similar with the original but it doesn't have
the rules of how to use the book...
