Is anyone here a fan of The Pillows? You might have heard them blasting their Strats on FLCL. Well, after crossing our fingers in hopes of seeing them at some anime convention, they decided to have a tour instaed. Here's an e-mail they sent out on their fan-listing:

We are officially entried in SXSW held during 16th〜19th March, 2005.
I am sooo happy!!
After that we are planning to tour Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco and LA.
We'll be touring with noodles, the band that I produce.
I am looking forward to it very much but at the same time, I am worried for
it will be our first tour in America. We can't speak English. We need
your advice. And so we
would really appreciate if you would answer the questionnaires below.

1. age/sex
2. favorite band?
3.recommending venue/live house?
4. Do you know any musicians who knows or likes FOOLY COOLY or the pillows?
5. Do you have any of our cds? If so, please let us know the title.
6. Which song do you want to hear at the live?
7. What is the size of your T-shirts?

Right now our new cd "GOOD DREAMS" just had been released. And our 35 tour
in Japan will start soon.
I will be waiting for your responce. Also hope to see all of you there in
America.

There you have it. The SXSW thing is in Texas, BTW. I've noticed they left out a few key places in the east coast. Don't worry, though. This is their first tour, after all. If you want tough, I can tell you their e-mail address so you can take the survey and tell them where you'd like to see them play- city, state or country.

My God! I can't stand it any longer. For once, I just want to live remotely close to a large city. I do hope they come to the east coast because then i can take the 7 hour trip down to New York. Please, pillows, grant me this wish!!!!

Sorry for the delay, but they finally released some locations with dates. Take a gander here: http://kyokoscafe.net/pirouzu/live.html Still waiting for the L.A. announcement but check back since the info has been pouring out lately. The Pillows will be touring with the Noodles while they are on the Japan Girls Nite US Tour. Studly? You bet.

i acn't believe that the pillows are coming to the usa! i don't have any of their albums except for the furi kuri albums and the downloadable songs! i can't wait! i live in northwest indiana and i'm going to the pillows concert in rosemont,IL! woot! Yeah! the pillows rock out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!may 13-15th here i come!!!!!!!!!!!

i went to this...it was a pretty cool, inexpensive night out....but the pillows played too early...like at 8pm....they still had ppl waiting outside, well after their set started....i heard them though...cool ish.
