She recently starred in Fly to the Sky's (a Korean R&B duo) new music video for their song "My Angel." It's very sad. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fZVmnRSBHc
Summary of the MV (if you're confused like me), courtesy of boonerbane on YT:

i think the ending where they got hit by the car is actually the first scene. then all the badd things that happened to the guy happened afterwards with the girl just watching him as his angel. then in the end, he kills himself with the pills?
i've seen this MV too and it's very sad.
Anybody knows where i can download her movie with Lee Jun Ki(Korean actor) entitled "Virgin Snow"? _________________

Yea, I agree. I decided to give NANA 2 a chance but I couldn't get into it. I missed Aoi's portrayal of Hachi so much. And Yui Ichikawa....the only thing I saw in that movie were her ears.
dayem your scathing wit reminds me too much of myself.

This movie was absolutely great! I was smitten by Miyazaki's protrayal of Shizuru and her chemistry with Tamaki Hiroshi was perfect! I really enjoyed this film...it was lovely. It more than made up for the utterly vacant NANA 2 which suffered greatly from the absence of Aoi Miyazaki as Hachiko (i.e. Nana Komatsu).

I completely agree. I went into the movie with no expectations but I came out thoroughly impressed.

I completely balled during the scene in the gallery, and Tamaki's character comes upon the photo of their first kiss.

It could have been a lot better. The story itself was shot and the acting this time around was....tolerable. Since they changed many of the main principle actors, you cannot help but compare them to the first movie. And honestly, I don't care for Yui Ichikawa too much. _________________

Neither do I and I think that's why I'm worried I won't like it. Aoi was my fav in the first one - one of the reason why I liked Nana so much. When I heard she wasn't going to be in the second, I was sorta mad. _________________

You're being very diplomatic You can tell the spirit of the actors wasn't into it...it felt as if the actors were going through the motions....which belied the internal disagreements that they had on the set.
Yui Ichikawa should have had her ears pinned back and Yuna Ito who played Reira should have had much more screen time.

Oh yea, I remember reading somewhere that she got hitched. She looks so young to be married. But she looks cute in that picture.
Aoi Miyazaki, Sousuke Takaoka announce marriage

Actress Aoi Miyazaki and actor Sousuke Takaoka made the surprising announcement that they registered their marriage on Friday morning. Dates for a ceremony and reception have not yet been decided. The two have apparently been dating for several years

Taken from the Japanese movie "All about my dog", this short film starring Aoi Miyazaki about the dual perspective of a dog and her owner will break your heart...

wow....news to me, well, she is a pretty one.
anyhow, i remember seeing a few advertisments of her in Japan one of the trains, one of which where she was in a bakery eating bread, with her short hairstyle, in a picture.
I like her from Nana1, but I agreed I dislike Nana2 with Yui Ichikawa potrayal Nana Hachi but the story was useless too, I'm so disappointed with Nana2 although I don't really like the story from Nana1, but at least Aoi Miyazaki for Nana Hachi was great.
Than I see her again in Heavenly Forrest, her transformation was awesome. If I'm Tamaki, I'll be smitten by her anytime .. she's a great actress in bring the real character in her role.
Last nite I surprise myself seeing her in Hatsu-Koi and I love it!!!! I love the story, how she potrayed the character of Mizusu, it was just one of movie I love so much because of the cast and the story! She has to learn to ride a guy motorcycle and is not easy considering her size, but she look good. Also driving old car with strange place for gear and brakes, she manage. I think she will be one of great actress in the future.
I also surprise just found out she's married recently, but according to what I read, they been dating for 7 years, so it's probably ok althought her age is quite young
anyhow, I'm her fan for her ability in bring up the character in the movies she starred, great actress!
