Oh, Aoi in Heavenly Forest is my most favorite. She portrayed the childish yet cute Shizuru very well. Love to see her big smile

Heavenly Forest is probably going to be the defining role for her. It was a very difficult and unique character that she handled perfectly. She's really cute/hot in Nana. Nana 2 was practically unwatchable for me because Ichikawa Yui was nowhere as good as Miyazaki Aoi.

That's exactly how I felt as well. From the anime I was always partial to the punk Nana, but after seeing Aoi-chan with the hachi role, I complete became of a fan of the kawaii Nana. I haven't seen Nana 2 but I'm hesitating. Aoi-chan was too perfect and theres no way she can be replaced for that role.

She was brilliant in Heavenly Forest, but she's brilliant and almost all her roles. She's ALWAYS convincing and truly believable.

I only watched Nana 2 for 15 minutes or so. Can't stand watching Ichikawa Yui's acting as Hachi . She totally ruined the image of Aoi's Hachi

One of my favourite actress from Japan! I watched a lot of her movies and Nana and Heavenly Forest are my favourites from her and I cant wait to watch Virgin Snow (her latest movie.)
