I bought a Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 2 or 3 months ago and it works great. Even crappy rice tastes great in it. It can do anything from sushi rice to brown rice.

I tried to stand in the rain a few times to get sick, so a cute girl could use the porridge function, but no luck so far. Beaten

Deal.

Zojirushi have one that uses magnets or something similar to cook rice. The rice cooker looks nice, but the process sounds scary. Not cheap too, almost 2 times the price of the lower model.

my old Zoji lasted almost 25 years... we replaced it only because the container got all ghetto, and it costed more to replace it than buying a new one.

Nice to know. Quality stuff. They usually don't make kitchen appliances that last that long, because it's not good for business. I'm amazed the guy didn't try to sell me an extended warranty.
