wow those mud balls are amazing! why are they shiny? i also think its interesting that someone would want to put a shiny ball of dirt on a plate. but if i had one of those, i'd probably take its picture as well.

well according to wiki, they usually resemble a marble or a billiard ball. so it looks like they're doing their job right.
