Im sorry but as a male ive always wanted to see my favorite japanese actor kiss like she means it..but it seems everytime i watch a drama and we finally arrive at that big moment, (as you may all have experienced) aside from their amazing to shitty performances(varies among actors) They always HALF ASS the kissing part. I mean, thats what everyone was waiting for! you finally had the guts to grab him by the shirt and give him a damn smooch AND WHAT DO WE SEE!? they make your lips all pointy like a ^%$#ing needle and plow their mouths into a little hole in the guys mouth..I mean have japanese girls got any pride on the set? Give me ONE japanese show where a woman is a good kisser and i will give you 5 bucks(YES 5 BUCKS). is it just me, or do japanese girls get absolutely NO lessons/coaching on kissing. I mean FFS even in american teenage shows, they kiss 10Xbetter than anyoen ive seen! can someone explain to me why this is SO!?! Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head

Probably has something to do with the Japanese reluctance for public displays of affection. Things would probably be different after the cameras are off Bleah
I do see your point though.

+1 on the PDA issues...
took me forever to even get my ex to hold hands in public. she'd grab my elbow/bicep and hold on, but not hands... wierd.

i think you're absolutely correct.....but i also agree with the original poster because the kissing scenes are usually devoid of passion.....but not always. ^_^
