I watched Ju-on the grudge and was trying not to laugh when the woman appeared (the ghost). Doesn't she remind you of Sadako? Long hair, white dress. And that little boy with the weird cat noises looks like a smurf. His skin is kind of blue.

When I was watching it, a girl sitting in front of me had her head buried in her lap throughout the show. I think she probably watched only $0.50 worth of it.

I think Ring is still the scariest. Rasen was crap. I didn't watch Ring 0 though. Dark Water was kind of a joke.

goody. i'm not the only one who didn't get scared while watching Ju-on!

it was quite scary..at least better compared to The Korean Horror Flic The Tale of Two Sisters...

the scariest part to me was the part where the black figure pulled the guard in2 the toilet n sumhow devoured him..eww...sux man..

other than dat, the boy's squealing sound was quite annoying 2..

KSW.. Mmmmmmm Lovey Eyes

On topic. I must agree that the ghost is creepier when she's just a black shadow than when she appears in solid form a la Sadako.

Ju-on ... not the best of all J horror... not at all. I wasn't scared off by it... the only scene that was a little unnerving was the one where the ghost hung over the lead's (Okina Megumi) bed .. just imagine if it really happens in real life.

But then again they'd spoilt it all by showing all the supposed scariest moments in the trailer. My strongest feeling throughout the whole movie? Confusion. As the movie jumped from vignette to vignette, it left me with question marks all over... and left me asking, 'what's happening'? most of the time to my friend beside me.. which wasn't the best candidate for that question.. she was actually covering her eyes 50% through the movie...

I guess the only one which is good is the original Ring... I've not seen Wishing stairs but from what I've heard it's not scary, it's just gross.

I've caught the promotional poster for Ju-on 2 though. I must say it's quite frightful... especially since I saw it in a lift while i was alone.

Eeks. You just reminded me of that scene. It was the creepiest in the entire movie (for me). Now I can't get that out of my mind. Eeks. Cursing

just got done watching, Juon: the grudge, being the 3rd film released. for those of you saw the film, what did you make of the ending? idk, if it's just me, but it seemed a little sparse in explaining it. like, was there some kind of connnection between rika and kayako?..hmm..

you might want to check some torrent sites to see if they have it..maybe suprnova.org..which juon are you referring to?...juon or juon: the grudge...cause there's four of them.....you should actually just buy them over ebay. i think you can find some boxed sets for quite cheap

hmm, like i said before, i think the best bet is to just buy the whole box set off of ebay or something. it is a pretty scary movie...i liked it a lot personally...though, there are a bunch of mixed reviews out there...im looking forward to the american remake since takashi shimizu is directing it himself...should be good.
