From what I've seen, I'm not surprised.

The male lead looks sorta Blekt-ish, er Gackt-ish, but I'll get over it, I hope... |
There is a whole discussion thread on this subject over at S-Projects. Thank God Tamaki isn't into cross-dressing.

There was a problem at SS and my files seemed to be corrupted as a result. Here are new links to the files:

In the manga Chiaki did get to put on a period piece and Nodame dressed up as a horse or donkey...

I'll bet donkey.
Hey anyone got all eleven softsubs for Nodame? Looks like the sub group pulled them from their site because people were using them for distro.... Now they're apparently going to hardsub the series from the start before releasing it...
Seems like six of one and a half dozen of the other.

LOVED THIS DORAMA ALOT, ALOT!!!^v^ I really want to watch the ANIME SEQUEL now...is it available anywhere for download?? And as the anime will straightly continue with The Paris Arc from episode 01. Does this mean there's ZERO chances there will be a sequel live-action series for Nodame?? hmmph...I guess so, nee... Not to mention The Paris Arc must be full of European characters....
Can anyone tell me the name of these pieces I describe below and if can, provide the MP3 download links?? Yoroshikuuu~~ Loved these pieces so much^^
1. The piece played on Episode 07, on around the 9th minute. Where Chiaki and Nodame passes by each other without realizing each other's existence...and Chiaki was only across the street. I've heard this piano piece in 101 Proposal drama too...it's such a romantic music^^
2. The Strezemann piece... I've heard it pretty much on Strezemann's scenes. Specifically, by the end of Episode 01, when Strezemann showed the photos of students he choose for his OWN Oke.
3. The piece played on the scene where Chiaki hugs Nodame by the riverside. I've also heard this piece as BGM by the end of Episode 02. _________________ "Let's create a world without war together"

The anime takes the exact time frame as the drama, and will end before Chiaki and Nodame go to Paris. You can download the English hardsubbed anime episodes here.

That's Etude No. 3-10, "Tristesse" by Chopin.

That's 'The Montagues and the Capulets' from Prokovief's 'Romeo and Juliet' suite.

That's 'Rhapsody in Blue' by Gershwin.

Husband and I just finished watching this dorama and we thoroughly enjoyed it!!! I'm happy that they tried to stick to the Anime format. |
Glad the two of you enjoyed it.
Personally I thought the drama was more 'animated' than the animation. The subtle use of special effects and CG made the drama more lively.
