that was a great segment...and the food looked so delicious
Hiroshi-san seems to have a tendency to overstuff his mouth... As well as put food that's too hot in his mouth: he did that in one of the outtakes for Nodame when the two were eating oden.

that dood was full on grubbin'...he put half of that truffle pie in his mouth and when he ate the croquette he pretty much inhaled that too!
but the food was pretty exceptional on their episode though. i still wonder....how much involvment the SMAP members have in making that food.

I read somewhere that SMAP members did go through a lot of training as chefs, just not sure whether this was for the SMAP X SMAP show or whether the show was a result of their skills.

Oh really?! Thanks for that piece of information....because some of the food they cook is extraordinary.

Training as a chef is one thing: being a good chef is another.
The episodes seem so heavily edited... You gotta wonder.

I think this item is out of stock. Even if not, Fuji TV doesn't ship overseas.

Yeah, Japan seems to be rather isolationist with stuff like that... Yet they export their consumer electronics by the boatload, literally.
Yeah but even then...we only see a FRACTION of what they actually produce....if you ever go there...you will see how much stuff never makes it to our shores, even though we have one of the largest consumer markets in the world. When I went to the Sony Building in Ginza, I saw tons of stuff that was light years ahead of the stuff we see here...
