just because you finally took the plunge, doesn't mean everyone else is on broadband now too.
or they might have a monthly bandwidth cap.

I'm not downloading the stuff from BT, either.

big defferences, not just a "that sounds meaningless to me" for something that Milch said.
i love the one who played Elise |
I don't think there are going to be life-altering differences. The subber got hold of a copy of the "Nodame Cantabile" novel and is checking her subs against that.
For those rare Elise lovers here is the website of Kichise Michiko.

Just spelling and grammatical differences.
I really wish the subbers would contain themselves and not add all that parenthetical crap and their own personal comments... They're supposed to be unbiased.

uhh.. no, they're fansubs, they aren't makin a profit and its not commercial, they can do whatever they want aside from translating the language. if you dont like it you can start your own sub group and make your own rules.
IMO

You're right... It's better than nothing.
But it still stinks.

Actually, I've taken that tact: I'm editing out the parentheticals and other extraneous crapola before I hardsub the dramas for my own use.

i have to say, they did a great job. eventhough the story wasn't finished, they made a perfect ending for it! one of the best endings ever! and i just loooveee all the casts. they're so good! perfect music! very entertaining. but some parts are hiperbolic and weren't that funny to me . still awsome.
eeeh... i never heard Chiaki saying "thtl", but why is your name in the subs
Siantut says there will be Nodame II right? but why do I somehow think that's not gonna happen. I don't know if the creators had officialy announced that there'll be a second season tho. Well, not unless the producer is filthy rich and able to do some awsome casting. It will be such a joke if they still use all japanese casts for the second season... a dorama with a bunch of Elise and Strezmans will look weird And i think some viewers will already be in love with the current casts, a sudden change of casts is a bit risky ne? well, we can't judge until we see it...
9/10
bravo Nodame !!! |
i-told-you-so. good for you!!!

The subber, siantut, was being kind to me - she was hoping Juri-sama will watch this episode with the subs someday and realize what a big fan I was.

I was more like wishful thinking. Most of us fans agreed that it will be next to impossible for Fuji TV to do a sequel, since the story will take place in Europe.

really? wow... that's really nice of her. i'll wish you luck! eventhough i dunno on what chance can Juri get a hand on these with siantut's subs.
