u know what am having trouble downloadin in that site.. is it different from downloadin from a bittorrent.. cuz its just weird the file is not a video file its SRT i believe and its just weird i dnt get it.. .can u help me out on that one?? onegai =( |
the (.srt) file is the subtitle file(soft subs). They should be saved in the same fold as the (.avi) the video file. Download the program vobsub, which you can find and do a search on the internet. Then play the (.avi)file of the episode, with the (.srt)file within the same folder, make sure it is renamed the same as the first file, just add .srt at the end, and you are set to go. If this is ultra confusing to you, i tried my best to explain in detail the steps what to do, this is how i learned it.
back to topic, I am looking forward to the next episode of nodame, the first episode was entertaining, and i am always amazed by Juri's fine acting...

The link I gave was indeed that of a torrent. I've been downloading from that site (mostly) trouble free. I found that BitComet (version 7.0) seems to work best.
Since I've only just responded to you I doubted if you have completed downloading the video file. You've probably downloaded the torrent but for some reason your system did not treat it as such. Maybe you can try reinstalling your torrent application.

If I tell you it'll spoil your fun.
The subs should be available in a couple of days.

i would have to say that, there are a few good ones out this j-drama season, and this one is definitely one of them.
there are two versions, the .wmv, and .avi versions....i am sticking with the higher quality bigger file version, .avi

i definitely agree! after my boss,my hero...i believe this is one of the dramas i'll be looking forward to watch this season. i just saw the pilot and it already captivated me.besides, being exposed to such "cultured" terms in classical music won't do me any harm.it's actually interesting and equally amusing.

Once in a while a movie/drama comes along that 'promoted' classical music. The one that I remember best was 'Amadeus'. Although it made Mozart looked like a vulgar clown, it's description of how his music was inspired had me going through my collection of Mozart's work with a new insight. "Nodame Cantabile" has the same effect - already there are reports in Japan that more children are taking up classical music after they watched this drama.
Apparently a 'Nodame Cafe' has been opened in Shinjuku, although this may be a short term thing. The cafe uses music from the drama as BGM, serves food related to or appeared in the drama (don't try the cream stew!), and have live performances. There is even a 'Nodame's Room' on display.

an S&M relationship |
Manga contents are usually highly exaggerated, I wouldn't describe it as S&M.
I think Ninomiya (the author) hinted at some sort of parallel between Mozart and Nodame, but this is just my personal opinion.
