This was discussed some pages ago...

The recent drama only covered volumes 1-8 (9?) of the manga, leaving volumes 9(10?)-16 opening for a possible sequel...

I'm so lame... I loved the dorama so much I went to Amazon and ordered all the available mangas (in English) so far that's volumes 1-8 KYA I read them all!!! Anyway volume 8 ended before the final round of the piano competition and Chiaki texting Nodame to tell her he would be there to watch her. I'm looking forwards to reading past where the dorama got to so I can see what happens next, because I think it's highly unlikely they will do a second series... though maybe they will considering the show's popularity... the sad thing is... we all know it probably won't work kya T_T _________________ Anata no subete wo shitte imasu - MC KAMIYAMA

Yaah I totally love this jdorama , perfect casting of the very kawaii Ueno Juri and that hunk faint Tamaki Hiroshi, what a darling . It made me appreciate musical artistes and classical music again. Tamaki-kun said in an interview that there are actually 18 volumes to the manga and the jdorama only covered up to vol. 8 so will there be a Nodame Cantibile season 2? I can't imagine anyone else playing Nodame expect Ueno Juri and Tamak Horoshi is perfect as Chiaki-sempai. I adore him. more of him pls and more of this jdorama. I was hoping it would never end. Gotta get myself the manga as well. thanks for the tip that its available on amazon.com _________________

I'd like to see the story all the way to the end, but it has to be done right.

I really don't have any interest in the manga or the anime versions aside from finding out what happens to the duo... Smile
