Honestly, I can't translate squat... I just look up things on the hiragana and katakana tables and search for the kanji here: http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgi?1C

So, essentially, I'm in the same boat as you... It's just that I'm willing to hunt down the words. Mr Green

Nice to know. Victory! Peace!

But they can't sub it until the movie shows up on DVD, ne? Since it won't be broadcast on TV like a drama...

That could mean we won't see it until mid-2010, I'd guess.

The other possibly is that if they release the two movies internationally (mentioned previously) it could be subbed by Toho... That would be a much better option if I had to choose. Victory! Peace!

hmm. true. they are movies after all. what is the possibility that they'd be released internationally?

i don't really care who subs it so long as it's subbed. Yeah

2010 seems like a lifetime! Pout

There was a blurb on the previous page that international film distributor Pony Canyon would market the two Nodame movies at Cannes... Which might mean the two films would be subbed for international consumption...

Let's hope so. Fingers crossed

For Nodame movie to be released in Asian countries, I think that's very likely..Hope they do well in the Cannes market..

My first-aid Japanese translation tool usually would be Rikaichan add-on, but then something wrong came up with my browser and I have to use IE..That sucks a lot..now I need to do extra works to understand the Japanese Bang Head

Referring again to the previous page (I think it was your post, BTW), the two Nodame movies will be distributed throughout Asia by Pony Canyon. Smile
