Yeah, I don't like those application invites either.
Except, someone sent me a Domokun, who I love, but I need to download an application to get it. Argh.

I almost never accept those neither.
But Facebook is growing on me - I have only people in my network I know so it's nice to keep in touch.

I tend to ignore some applications too |
Yeah, there's tons of stupid add-ons... What a pain.
Though I am playing Scrabble with my niece.

My boyfriend got me to join facebook just over a year ago (we weren't dating at the time, I guess fb brought us together lolz well our relationship was long distance to begin with)
Anyway I have been addicted to fb ever since ʁ I always end up just leaving the page on just waiting for messages! LOLZ
I get quite a few messages because my uni friends use it a lot. Also to keep in touch with some of my best friends who I live far from. It's also great for finding people ^0^ I have added people to my lists who I went to school with years ago and lost touch it's great!
As for the privacy you just have to adjust the settings really. Mine is on private so if someone did a name search for me on google they wouldn't actually be able to view the page where all my details are... not that I put many on there anyway.
If a none friend tried to view my page they'd at most see my name picture and possibly who I am friends with. _________________ Anata no subete wo shitte imasu - MC KAMIYAMA

Hohoho how things have changed. I now like FB.
But not most of those applications things - I still can't be bothered with them.
I can be ruthless - I only want people on my list who I like and enjoy talking to. I had a request from one of my sister's friends, and I felt bad, but I turned her down. I knew her from years ago, but we weren't pals, and we wouldn't have anything to say to each other, so...(I heard from my sister that the friend was fine about my refusal, though!).
I set my profile so I shouldn't turn up in searches, and I think my friendlist is visible only to my friends.

Me too. I just got a Facebook account the other week and I only have 7 friends. I don't really want to add people just for the hell of adding them. I don't care for my life to be viewed by people I couldn't care less about. _________________
