I don't think Ichikawa Mikako or Higashiyama Noriyuki have their own threads, do they? I hope it's ok to post these pictures here, anyway... Sweat

Ichikawa Mikako on the cover of, er Spoon magazine. What a great name for a publication! hehe

Er, nice hat?!

Omg, Kuitan has a flat hairdo!!! I thought he couldn't go out without using a full can of hairspray, but I was wrong. Mr Green

Acteur magazine sounds very arty...

Oh yeah, and I watched episode 7 of series 2, and it was fabulous! I feel this series is less full-on funny than the first one, but that's not to say it isn't as good. Victory! Peace!

You're more than welcome to start new threads for either of them, if they don't already exist... Smile

Nice pics, Keps. I'm still amused that Kuitan and Tamaki Hiroshi remind me so much of each other.

I finished episode 3 of the second series last night. Tons of IGARASHI!!! in that one. Dancing

In my world, they are similar. From their haughty voices, to some of their facial features and hairstyle, and they seem to be the eloquent types too. I dunno. I think it's just me. Mr Green

I have only seen Higashiyama Noriyuki in Kuitan, Kuitan 2, and The Chef and Tamaki Hiroshi in Nodame and Heavenly Forest, but they do seem similar to me.

For instance, am I the only one to see the similarities in these pics? Granted, they have similar poses, but they look alike to me. At least, they look somewhat related. It's probably still just me though. Sweat

Hmm, maybe a little...

I've only seen Kuitan 1 & 2 and Nodame. I have Heavenly Forest, but haven't watched it yet ashamed

Kuitan and Chiaki are such different characters... Kuitan just cracks me up... everything is "Oishii!", and in one Kuitan 2 ep (the Takoyaki one)

I'm not talking character-wise though. I'm talking in mannerisms, speaking tones, and things like that. To me, they both exude arrogance in the way they talk (tone of voice, pronunciation) and carry themselves. In some angles, they look alike to me too. Like I said, I'm probably the only one who sees this. Sweat

@ Beem - thanks. Victory! Peace! I'm just wondering how popular the threads might be. Sweat

@ Cori - yes! I agree there is a resemblance between Higashiyama and Tamaki. Especially in those two pictures you posted. However, imo there is less of a likeness in mannerisms, etc. Mind you, I'm just going on seeing a few minutes of Tamaki on YouTube (never seen him in a drama). Beaten

@ AD and Beem - Bleah Mr Green
There is so a resemblance. *sulks*
*stops sulking* Victory! Peace!

My next episode of Kuitan 2 is number 8. Apparently

Doesn't matter really.

I'd take either of those threads over the crap in the J-Ent forum. bleh

What's up in J-Ent?
Perhaps if I find there isn't a Higashiyama thread, I'll create one. I'm kind of less of a fan of Ichikawa Mikako. Sorry to be so obvious. hehe

Just watched episode 8, and it was one of the best of the series, so far, I think.
I cannot wait for episode 9 - it looks completely wild

This was advertised on the last episode - a CD, I think. Looks like fun.
