Enabling such a function will only keep the "tension" between such users. Like 86 said, "nothing will get solved that way".
Confrontations (well I prefer the term: "debates") are always the best way to solve problems (IMO). There's always going to be a time when a user doesn't mean any offense, but someone will take offense to whatever comment made. Enabling an "ignore" function will NEVER give the 'offender' the chance to explain/set things straight. Thus tension/hostility will never find resolve.
Bottom line. What I'm trying to say is that, running away from your problems will never solve anything more or less be a benefit to anyone. _________________

Yea, i noticed that as well... Most everything was in Japanese until you sign in.. I thought the site turned everything into japanese, I was going to be in trouble reading all of it.. _________________
eh... if I remembered correctly, the site changed into Chinese (not Japanese) for less than 5 minutes coz I made a wrong alteration to the site config.
Thinking of removing the Chinese and Japanese language options as they are incomplete. All custom pages on the site will not appear as desired if you choose those languages.. mmm.. _________________
The purpose of the feature artistes page is to showcase talents. The selection of the artistes is wholly random. I had provided the entire list of feature artistes so that people won't keep on refreshing to see what other artistes are available (albeit not too noticiable a link).
In short, its a nice-to-have feature but not a very important/useful one to most visitors. (yes, rigging the probability thingy incurrs alot of extra processing power, over 6000 hits on the main page per day)

The icon is located next to the name of the user who made the latest post in a thread. All threads have it. Just look at whoever made the latest post, and you'll see the orange icon. _________________
