Oh Jeez! Is tonight the night?

No more dry runs? No more dress rehearsals?

I'm too nervous to type anymore.

Status:

Took today off, since my lower back has betrayed me after working on the yard and playing basketball yesterday... Sad

Transfered the DVC video to my PC this morning and made my first pass at converting it to MPEG2... I used a quality setting of 70, which only yielded an 864MB-sized file... I think I'll try the maximum and see how big the file size is for comparison...

I've gotta take some more Tylenol and do some more stretching... Jaa.

BMW,

You've got to swap off 15 minutes of heat, and 15 minutes of ice.

Works better than Tylenol for oldguyus crapbackus.

And hot diggity on this weeks video adventure. Not only did you get Trick 3, ep 1, but you learned a new skill.

Now people will never stop bugging you to tape stuff for them.

Thanks for the advice. First time this has happened is a long long time. I guess I shoulda stretched before the hoops.

If I smoked cigars, I could be roaming around the house doing a pretty damn good Groucho Marx imitation... hehe

Yeah, it's sorta fun and educational.

This is short term. If I wasn't interested in Trick3, I wouldn't be doing it....

Oh, I ran tmpgenc plus on the AVI file at CQ=100 and it yielded a 2.3GB MPEG2 file... Too big.

I'll try again with CQ=80 and see what happens. Smile

Is trying to fit four episodes per DVD too much of a sacrifice in picture quality? Any comments?
