when you say 'how is she' what exactly do you mean? how does she sound? how is she in real person? a lttle more specific plz. But to answer your question to the best (hopefully):
She is a member of the Hello! Project group, which include many 'mini group' such as: morning musume, country musume, coconuts musume, mini moni, pucchi moni, tanpopo, etc. matsuura is a solo feature, which means she headlines by herself. marketed to the early teens to the late teenage girls, she is considered 'genki' and very cute.
To me she appears very airhead-ish and to 'artificially sweet' kind of cute, but i can also see her appeal to the mass.

It seems the J-dorama community has died down considerably... well, the "die hard" dorama fans have. I notice a lot of 'newbies' but it almost seems as if the vets graduate and the new people take their place.
I dunno... is it just me? Or does it seem to come and go in cycles like that? _________________

It's pretty common, this cycle, I mean.
Back in the day it was Juliana Phang, Pemu, Prince, Loveless, Arashi, Michi and other "old timers" like that who (I guess) "ruled" the boards. Then we came along. And now the newbies have come.
I don't know. The cycle is weird. _________________
One thing to consider is that, statistically, the majority of on-line people that participate on message boards are in the 15 to 22 year bracket. I found that many of the people on JDorama.com fitted that profile. And, seeing people within that age group are usually in a school of some kind (high school, college, etc.) eventually these people graduate (it is, of course, summer vacation or post-graduation right now), and therefore move on to other things, such as finding a full-time career, or finding other things to do to occupy the free time available.
When school goes back into session for most people (late August/early September), things will pick up. Sounds strange because I'm the complete opposite... If I was going to school, my focus would be on studying and therefore stay away from the message boards. During the four years of undergrad study, I totally disappeared from all aspects of social life. Friends had to call me or go to my house just to see if I was still alive.

It's good to have a mix though! I had viewed the site off and on for about 1 year before I joined up. _________________

I did that too! I am usually up here to read peoples' post, but I am starting to be more involve, which is really fun!
Yeah, I wasn't really into it at first, but I found out how cool some of the people are on this forum. This is seriously the coolest board to go on to meet some new friends as opposed to 99.9% of the boards out there.

It is true that this is a very interesting and friendly place. I visit a lot but don't always open the door. Sorry. Actually I am older than the hills so tend to be a bit wary in discussions that go into anything technical. BUT I love jdramas and watch them all over the place. Fall madly in love with some of the actors at different times. So much talent and charm to sample. My husband/trulove tends to roll his eyes at me and sighs now and then..
Question of the day for me...Is japantv off screen today? Can't raise it.

Haha........there is nothing wrong with drooling over the actors. Each person has his/her right to fantasize sometimes.
