Hehe..yeah, I can manage to understand a taxi driver trying to strike up a conversation..hehehe.. hehe But, when they just speak too fast or use too many geordie term..I got lost in translation. Hehe..I was in another planet for sure.

Do you know that they say "Toon" instead of "Town" heheh Beaten Many times they always say this to me "Here you go, Pet" "Howay Man" hehe

lucky you...i was a bit further down from newcastle...but had a geordie classmate....sometimes when ii spoke to him, it was Bang Head Bang Head time Shake Head Beaten

I was still around UK in 2001..nah..I've not hang around in York either. Hull rhymes with Dull hehehe..rofl I think one of my fellow graduands used to go to Huddersfield for her undergrad..that's in Hull right? Crazy

orh....2001...i was in Dull, UK also bleh

huddersfield and hull are not nearby. huddersfield is nearer to leeds and bradford

You were in Dull er.. I mean hull in 2001 hehehe..we could've met back then.

D'uh!! how could I come up with the idea? Perhaps because this girl who carried around Huddersfield folder note, she's crazy..she lived in York and went to commute to Newcastle back and forth. I said to her..why did you waste your money and time to commute like that although I knew that between York and NCL is too not far if you commute by train (around 45 - 50 mins..remember there was a speed restriction after that big rail way accident in UK) still she was crazy Crazy Beaten the most painful thing was she did not pass the graduate study..eh?! Doh! Shake Head

maybe she was homesick, missed her mum's cooking, parents not allowing her to stay in hostels,.....

hehe hehe
