Today it was sunny, then it rained, then it was sunny, then it rained. Weird!
Isn't that typical for Hawaii? When I was there it happened on several occasions... I thought it was so cool, particularly since it was around 90 degrees at the time...

That has been my experience with Hawaii also. I never minded the rain because I new in 2 minutes the sun would be out and everything would be back to normal. I loved it. _________________

Now, I'm not kidding here . . . reports of (and, no, I'm NOT referring to earlier Day After Tomorrow hype) a TORNADO in the L.A. area earlier this week . . . was that some kind of mistake or misreading or . . . what? Any of you CA'ians hear of this?
I can tell ya'll's this (and maybe Rinrin, Groink, Ahochaude, some other Hawaii'ites can corroborate): I don't think there's EVER been an August evening where we experience rains. I mean . . . it's weird . . . driving along the freeways here, expecting to see dry grass, etc . . . on the contrary, lotta areas are GREEN.
