Actuarlly heard that the novel is a classic in modern Japanese literature.
So you might be able to apperciate more if you can fully understood the japanese dialog or get the chinese subbed VCD.

yap, i watched too. tho i cannot stand the manager's love over the lead actress. since he is married, but he still has some unexplained love towards her. the lead actress is at fault too, she should be firm and reject him coming into her house..this caused 'shang4 san1 tiao2' to misunderstand..

Hyouten, is that the one with Tokiwa and Takenouchi? I applaud their effort for trying to speak mandarin, but it was bone cracking awful

Right now there's Moto Kare: Doumoto Tsuyoshi, Hirosue Ryoko and Uchiyama Rina

I think there's a detective drama> Bayside Shakedown 2 with Oda Yuji too
 |

Hyouten is not starred with that 2 artistes you mentioned.@Totally different one.

Channel 8's broadcast of double score has already been comfirmed.

 Starring: Sorimachi Takashi, Oshio Manabu,
 Ajima kazuyuki.

I dont really like Double Score when it was shown in e-city last year..the gun fire scenes and how they chased after the suspects are just not realistic enough..

the recent ended detective show on ecity (Bayside shakedown) I also think so. some of the gun fire scenes are just so simplistic..

i prefer other kind of jap shows , ie romantic or thriller kinds

The recently ended 'Searching for my polestar' is about friendship/love. Very thought provoking..

'See u in kowloon' too - about the intricacies of love. and how indecisive people can be..this is human nature, to a certain extent...

for 'Hyouten' shown on Channel 8 12 midnight, it is a typical thriller. altho the show seems a passe, esp with the lead actress dressing and the setting, it will be a suspensful show. Understand it is a classic japanese novel. | |
