yt, those pictures are great, but for a feature artiste picture genma need something at least 400x450 and of higher quality something like the pics you saw for feature artiste in the front page.. so i don't think the pics you provided are good enough..

this quality is good, but it needs to be bigger..
Also, the actor or actress should be out of character and portraying themselves. Even if the image above was the right size, you should find one of him wearing plain clothes.
Also, the "Fire Boys" text is much too close to his face, and Genma cutting it out would make the face itself take up too much space. You have to consider the write-up in the image... There should be enough room to place the person's name, JDorama.com logo, and write-up.
And, the image should NEVER be a screenshot from a drama. The image should be a clean scan from hardcopy, such as a magazine or a brochure. Looking at all the other feature artistes images, the one thing they all have in common is that they were professionally taken in a studio, or a location set up to be a studio, such as the bathroom location used for Koyuki's photo.
Okay... I'm no fan of Yamada Takayuki, but it took all of less than five minutes to find some images that would fit Genma's bill. The trick basically is to search Google for the dude's name using his Japanese written name:
RcFV
With that, I came across the following example image:
From that, I took a 400x450 sample of the image, considering the three elements I talked about earlier (logo, write-up, family/first name):
Then, to see if it actually works, I used Photoshop and came up with the following example:
The best image to work with is one that is much larger than 400x450. That way, it gives Genma more flexibility to scale and crop the exact 400x450 chunk.
