it would have to be sleeping forest. i find that kimura takuya's character is the same in all the doramas he acted in. sleeping forest was so refreshing, especially the ending.

ohh.... Long Vacation will definitely have my vote.... !!! coz this is the first Japanese drama i watch & i fall in love with japanese drama since.... really like him in the drama itself.... i feel that he is so handsome & talented.... i like all his drama since.... frm Love Generation, Beautiful Life, Hero, Pride etc..... he has been a great actor....!!!
I think my favourite drama with Takuya is Long Vacation. Since it's one of the first dramas I watched, it always has a special place in my heart.
But one of the Takuya's dramas which left a very deep impression on me is Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi. I think Katase Ryo is a very hard character to portray and Takuya did very well. Would like to see more of Takuya in such roles.

Welll now...
Let's bump this back on line again. The latest thing I have heard re our Kimura is that he made a splash at Cannes and now he is going to play a role in the latest Merchant Ivory film. that is not a bad way to become the international actor that Wong Kar Wei said he should be.
James Ivory directs the film.."The White Countess'. Lead man is Ralph Fiennes and he has Natasha Richardson, Vanessa and Lynn Redgrave.
Now I'm sure the role Kimura plays will not be huge but he's there mateys
re '2046' I don't know how to attach a picture on this site but I will try. Forgive if nothing happens[img]
Sorry. Didn't work. I have to investigate how to do this here.
