Thanx a lot for that pic, iluvhyde! That's the dressing of Yumi I love most in it!
I watched for the 2nd time at Cineleisure. But forgot again the color of the jeans Yumi wore for this pic,not sure if it's grey.Cos I'm gonna buy the clothing etc including the same colors as possible, that look like those she wore, not to copycat but I LOVE them myself.
Yesterday I bought Kou's album Mitsu, not the Japan imported one,but would love imports if I have $.After that it came to me that I wonder if the film's soundtrack contains the ringtone. If you have already own the soundtrack, does it has the ringtone? If not,I'll not buy it as I'd probably buy the dvd.I love that ringtone being start off with a "tng!" ,then goes on.
It's special.Normally I don't care much about the titles of films but like this one "One Missed Call".It's cool.
About Kou,I think she acted VERY well and also looked great in this one.But she always look different in pics.

Oh~ you are welcome! I think her jeans is dark blue denim *i think*... Sweat

You bought Kou's album? Cool~ I also like the "tng" at the beginning!! Its very unique!

And I really have one question: Wat is the model of Yumi's phone in Chakushin Ari?? Saw from some Jap bbs its from J-phone~ but dunno which make and model! Can anyone help me? Cos I find the "lights" outside really cool~

Shibasaki's side view and front view looks very different... maybe that explains why loh...

Wish I can help you but I don't know the model of Yumi's phone either.I don't think you can tell from the film.Guess have to look at it again after buying the dvd.Actually when i was watching the 2nd time,I only remember bit of Yoko's phone(think has some stickers on it?) when she and Yumi were in the washroom.well,I'm gonna paste some stickers on my phone too, hehehe
Now that you mentioned the phone,I now regretted I can't remember Yumi's phone.I mean,is the "light" special-looking?
wow,this is the first horror film I'm so mad about,that I like almost everything about,the acting,dressing,song ..

I just tried listening this time.It works but I found it's not complete either. It stops halfway and the final part's missing.Besides,it starts without the opening "thng" sound first before going on the melody.
As for the Japanese site,I haven't tried it as don't understand the nihongo words.currently know only some words.

THANKS FOR THE LINK!! I've successful dl the midi to my phone!! Gorgeous! Its loud enuff to boot. I really tot it is complete...

I think the version with the "tng" infront is a "remix" for the movie. The original name for this song is "I Love Mum"...spooky~~

(check out the trailer,i think it includes the ringtone too though i don't understand russian.Meanwhile,i can't listen or view the trailers cos this particular WMP i'm using has a problem)
(also look out for the russian official site for the film)

BTW,how do you know the song is called "i love mum"?

I saw it on some Japanese BBS with links to the ringtone. But the ringtone can only dl in japan and need $$... but they state down there the name is call I LOVE MUM... the song actually have these lyrics: ".... I LOVE MUM, I WAN MOM, WOULD YOU BE, BE MY MOM~~..." bleh

Read that they also dunno Kou's HP model...they suspect is last year's J-Phone HP models.

I believe the title for the track that is just the ringtone music is called 'Shi no Chakushin Melody'.The song that appears later in the movie with the lyrics in it (when the principal of the childcare 'fixes' Nanako's doll) should be the one titled 'I Love Mum'. Hope this helps. Mr Green

I think this movie wasnt as scary as all this hype said it to be... I just finished this movie as well and was completely lost... Didnt know how the ending tied into the movie... Lots of things were very fuzzy... But dont get be wrong, when it was time to scary you, it did a hella good job of doing it... Sweat hehe

I read somewhere that they are filming a sequel to this but Kou and Shinichi are no longer in the movie. I thought the plot was a bit chessy but Takashi Miike did a good job providing a scary atmosphere and Kou and Shinichi did a great job. But I was a bit confused as to the ending.

i concur....coming from the same director who brought us audition, ichi the killer, dead or alive, etc. i expected a lot more from this movie. the idea seemed original but ended up being told using every cliche in the book. as for the ending, yes, it was a bit confusing but can be made sense of....IF thought about....let's see, i would have to say that this movie's only saving grace is shinichi tsutsumi and kou shibasaki's pretty face hehe ....besides that, i have to add this movie to my crap list...
