I already mentioned that in the previous page...
I guess he'll have an asterisk next to his name if he breaks the record, since Sisler played only 154 games, as opposed to the present 162...

Good point. How many did Ichiro have at 154 games?
By the same token, how many did Bonds and McGwire and Sosa have at whatever was the number of games that Maris and Ruth hit their home run records?

I don't think that will happen. The pitchers and science of it all, scouting and so on, maybe there should be an asterisk saying how it is so much more difficult nowadays to hit that well.
