In terms of fast food... There are a couple of places that I just won't go into... but for the most part, the object of the exercise is to just get the hell away from work.

And since I usually don't look as well turned out and tidy as Norm Abrams by lunch time... I'm pretty much limited to places that will just give me food, and let me go outside and eat.

You gotta know where to go.

The ban is supposeldy statewide. And I'd put the Nor Cal anti smoking Nazis up against any group of fanatics in the world.

But that doesn't mean there aren't the equivalant of speak-easies around.

Okay, all this food talk has me thinking about dinner.

My favorite meal? Left over Turkey sands the day after Thanksgiving.

I can do that.

A loaf of Wonderbread... some sliced Turkey from the deli... a box of stove top... a small can of jellied Cranberry sauce... and a packet of instant gravey.

mmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm--good!

Them's eats.

Sigh. From when I got to the office to now, friggin' meetings, meetings, meetings. See's candy, white cookie/chocolate filling oreos, and 12 oz's of black tea for mine breakfast for those of you keeping score.

(doing my Obi-Wan Kenobi impression from Star Wars)

Steeling myself, leaning against the table for support, "I sense calories... caffine... as if a million voices cried out at once at the inane vapidity of corporate bureaucracy..."
