Heh, if your "power" is still present, then that's bad news.
What the hell is the 10 though? _________________

That's a spooky one.
I think 86 had the best dream that I ever heard of though....... _________________

Haha naw, someone told me it meant that you got rid of something in your life, like maybe a cold or illness. No idea really, I think it's just a bunch of mumbo jumbo that you remember throughout the day and it gets mushed together.
@aho: what was his dream about?

He posted it in the "Dream Interpretation" thread. But I can't seem to dig it up at this time...
Can't find it
*edit* Found it.

But I don't beleive 'em. 'Cause seeing is beleiving...... |
Well, I tell you something; I believe that negative energy might manifest itself sometimes; I think you'll find a pretty good example (albeit a fictional one) with The Grudge coming out soon. So, yeah, if, say, something really bad happens in, let's say, a house, the restlessness of bad energies "stuck" in the house might show how untamed they are. I know this is quite short of a scientific explanation (heh, THAT'S THE POINT, actually), but, look at realtors -- didn't I hear that they're legally required to inform the buyer if, say, a murder had occurred in the house they're selling or something?
Hahha, ahochaude: Lady Cleo. The heck ever happened to her? Last I heard the entire operation got "caught" and . . . that was that. No news stories 'bout that lately? But, yeah, was a hoot whenever that commercial came on TV. "Ya' bettah leave him, girl!" [to paraphrase] Ha. Yes, yes, indeed, we could all use a little of Lady Cleo's advice now and then.
Thanks for playing to all ya'll's in this thread so far. The unexplained is something, eh? The very heart of the unexplained seems to stump every genius, every politician, et al., seems to not be quelled by money or, I dare say, will, sometimes.

Hmmm, well, there are many scientific explanations for "sightings"...
I mean, for once, most are by night (I don't recall any ghost sighting by day). Ever observed how your own visual and listening system works by night? We react more sensitive. I say it's because back in stone age, darkness was our enemy. If the cavemen weren't careful by night, well... then the huge bear next door got a free burger. By night you usually don't have the same light as by day (duh ) and shadows look differently, heck, even things can look differently depending on the light.
Then there's the whole stuff with electromagnetic fields. Granite, for example, changes the electromagnetic field a bit and the human brain reacts to it (and many castles in Europe have granite built in). I once accidentally left my monitor on and went for a nap... Hell, I had the weirdest nightmare of my life... There was once an experiment with electromagnetism and all test subjects, who were blindfolded, saw weird demonic things once the electromagnetism was applied.
On that note I think the most common ghost in Austria is a white lady in a castle...
The photo argument with the pictures of ghosts... well... No... Considering how many thousands of photos are developed daily, it's possibly that there are errors on your special film. Also considering how many millions of films are manufactures every year... it's possible that there's one with a failure. It doesn't really work with the pictures, and there are some which look so obviously fake... Heck, you can photoshop it lol. Movies taken of ghosts, well, those are taken with devices that work with basic electromagnetism... There are no video cameras with an optical storage device, they all have tapes or hard drives.
Though, there once was a show on German TV, were they got some candidates, put them into an old castle in Romania over two or three nights, and they had to perform several tasks during these nights. And everything was filmed with cameras which were scattered all over the place. First, they got the background info of the castle (I think it was one that once belonged to a relative of old Vlad Tepes), and they also go to hear about the ghost stories connected with it. It was pretty interesting to watch them when they were sent out by night, alone, with a camera attached to them and a flashlight. You could really see this primordial fear of a dark, unknown place. It was fascinating.
Sadly it seems they've stopped with it, I'd love to volunteer for something like that.
I'm not saying that things like that don't exist, but so far I haven't seen any real evidence that makes me accept ghosts as an actual fact.
