David Ortiz does it again: Bosox win, 5-4 in 13 innings....
in the 14th BTW...(5 hours 49 mins.)
Curt Schilling's going to pitch game 6, which I have to believe is good for the Yanks. He's not healthy whether he's pitching or not. Boston's going to tire out the Yanks' pitching for the Series...
I guess these extra games are good for Fox though.

Wow, two extra inning games in a row. Talk about nailbiter for all those Boston fans. At least they got what they wanted: a chance to live another day. Both teams must be tired by now.
The opposite? That the Yanks will have fresh pitching for the Series? Explain!!
If they can hurry up and end it...and NOT play 4 1/2 to 6 hour games night after night working 5-7 pitchers a day...maybe they would...but I might be missing your point somehow...

Well I just figured that Boston's throwing evey possible pitcher (Wakefield, Arroyo, etc.) at the Yanks to keep the series going, while the Yanks are holding back somewhat, so the Yanks pitching would be fresher...

Oh...I think I understand the confusion.
In the ALCS I agree with you. I meant that for the World "Series"...the Yanks' pitching is going to be worn out because of all of these long games.

Oh. Sorry about that... I sorta had that feeling when I typed the word... But I used lower case ("series") as opposed to upper case ("Series")...
Yeah...I figured we were talking about different things. 'Cause I knew you wouldn't think the Yanks would be fresher (for the World Series) with these long games.
