What are your top 5 characters from J-drama's? maybe not your favorite actor or actress but the most interesting characters that stand out in your mind. So far I would have to say... 1) Jinno Sakurako (Nanako Matsushima) - Yamato Nadeshiko 2) Kuriyu Kouhei (Kimura Takuya) - Hero 3) Kirishima Hikaruko (Norika Fujiwara) - Sutaa no Koi 4) Onizuka Eikichi - (Sorimachi Takashi) - GTO 5) Himukai Rie (Yumiko Takahashi) - Shomuni (Series 1, 2 and Final) _________________ From the Simpsons Mr. Burns: I could crush him like an ant. Don't really have 5 in mind but trick series - Ueda Jiro (Abe Hiroshi) is definitely the most interesting.

Nice topic! 1. Trick--Ueda Jiro (Abe Hiroshi) 2. Seikei Bijin-- Saotome Honami (Yonekura Ryoko) 3. GTO--Onizuka Eikichi (Soramachi Takashi) 4. Shinsengumi --Yamanami Keisuke (Sakai Masato) 5. Trick--Yamada Naoko (Nakama Yukie) There are others, but these five are the performances I think that have really stood out from all the dramas I've seen so far. --Maria

1. who else but Sawada Shin played by matsujun in Gokusen ^^ his defining role! 2. nagase hiromi,played by fukuyama masaharu in bijo ka yajuu 3. sakuraba yuichiro played by nagase tomoya.. that is a great role.. 4. oda keiji, played by karasawa toshiaki in oishii kankei <3 5. gamo shinobu, plaed by tsukamoto takashi in manhattan love story, too cute for words..

Sawada Shin (Matsumoto Jun) in Gokusen 5. Ueda Jiro (Abe Hiroshi) in Trick series Sigh... there r so many but can only come up with these at this moment...

Hmm.. For me... Onizuka Eikichi - GTO Michi - Majou no Jouken Hagio Sae - Orange Days Zaizen Goro - Shiroi Kyoto Uesugi Riko - Love Generation I think these are worth a mention too... Hirose Aki - Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu Katase Yuki - Summer Snow _________________ Himawari, yureru, taiyou no shita de.. Kanjiteita, kaze wo... kimi wo.

after seeing everyone's answers, i feel like putting them all into the top list as well! ^^;; there are really too many great charcters out there.. memorable ones like matsushima nanako in majo no jouken, and katase yuki in summer snow.. all great!

Fukatsu Eri as Dojima Yuko (Sorakara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi)
Takeuchi Yuko as Murase Aki (Pride)
Fujiki Naohito as Suga Eiichiro (Love Revolution)
Okada Junichi as Ryuji (Renai Hensachi)

There are a lot of characters I simply love like Aki in "Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu", Koda in "Good Luck" and of course, Onizuka from "GTO". hehe
