Todays menu was Curry Bun vs. Melon Bun....

They both looked good but, me being a meat lover, liked the curry bun better caused it looked so crunchy...mmm.... The melon bun looked good but more as a dessert.

I was watchin' it at my brother's place: we were jumpin' from that and the World Series... hehe

I figured everyone would pick the Curry Pan, 'cause it looked more hearty, more of a meal... Sort of an unfair contest really: Like comparing a steak against ice cream... Shake Head

Donuts, 5-2..... hehe Applaud

Three different donuts:

Cruller donut filled with fresh strawberry jam and whipped cream
Twisted donuts filled with custard creme
Old fashioned donut dipped in chocolate and toasted almonds

Three different dango:

Dipped in sweet soy sauce
Dipped in sweet red bean paste
Rolled in toasted sesame seeds

The dango is so much more traditional that I think most of the contestants were sorta bored, whereas with the donuts you have more interesting fillings like the homemade strawberry jam (it looked sooooo good)...
