They both looked good but, me being a meat lover, liked the curry bun better caused it looked so crunchy...mmm.... The melon bun looked good but more as a dessert. |
I was watchin' it at my brother's place: we were jumpin' from that and the World Series...
I figured everyone would pick the Curry Pan, 'cause it looked more hearty, more of a meal... Sort of an unfair contest really: Like comparing a steak against ice cream...

And the winner is:
Donuts, 5-2.....
Three different donuts:
Cruller donut filled with fresh strawberry jam and whipped cream
Twisted donuts filled with custard creme
Old fashioned donut dipped in chocolate and toasted almonds
Three different dango:
Dipped in sweet soy sauce
Dipped in sweet red bean paste
Rolled in toasted sesame seeds

At least the compettition was fairer: snack vs. snack...

and maybe they already have had all kinda dishes in teh show so they have to use deserts and snacks xD |
The dango is so much more traditional that I think most of the contestants were sorta bored, whereas with the donuts you have more interesting fillings like the homemade strawberry jam (it looked sooooo good)...

Me too... Also, they've been talking about the 65th anniversary of Pink's Hot Dogs on Melrose and La Brea... I want a hot dog and a cheeseburger now...
