Hello, I am new to this website. I'm new to the whole of Japanese movies, I heard that they are the best. So I decided that it would be good to try and learn more about them, before I actually get into them.
Hello. New member here. I want give my heartfelt thanks whoever is behind ithis website. It is a very helpful site for people like me who just beginning to discover the world of J - Doramas. So many times, I'd see japanese dramas playing on TV, and pique my interest, but couldn't really get into the habit cuz I didn;t know where to turn for information. Thanks to this site, I can now claim to be somewhat of an addict!
While a relative newbie to J- Doramas, I am absolutely in love with them. Alot of variety, strong stories, and I love the plot structures resulting from most doramas lasting no more than a dozen episodes, long enough to develop a story well , but not too long to having to resort to story drags and plot fillers. Nice variety of genres as well. People on the forums seem interestiing too.

Hello everyone!
My name is Sharlene but most folks just call me "Chibi" or just the name you see here. I own a journal on greatestjournal.com and one of my friends from there got me to sign up here!
I am sorta digressing from anime toward J-dramas now but the thing is, most Japanese dramas I have seen, have no subtitles. Unlike the fan subbed animes, I can't watch those good dramas like Waterboys cause there is not subs. So basically, I am trying to learn the language now or rather at least know a lil bit more than what I already sorta know.
Oh! of course I like j-rock and pop....I can just name a few off my tongue now like, Gackt(le sigh...), L'Arc~en~ciel, Plastic Tree, Psycho Le Cemu, Orange Range, Ayumi Hamasaki, Mika Nakashima and even some others like Duel Jewel and such that i won't mention now.
As for animes, I like classics like Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ghost in the Shell movies, Akira as well as a few others.
And no, I hate Tenchi Muyo, Love Hina and other stupid animes like Photon or even Excel Saga which i don't find funny. I am not much of an anime otaku, just watch a few here and there...
But I do like new animes like Last Exile, Chrno Crusade, Samurai 7 and such...and yeah.
