Maurice Clarett, of infamous Ohio State renknown, tells his side of the story, about life in the Ohio State football program. How he was made and broken, and why he did what he did.
One of the most interesting pieces of journalism I've ever read on ESPN's website.

No! Really?!?!
Big time division one college football programs pay their athletes? Slip them perks under the table? Find any way possible to keep a star's grades up so that he's eligable?
Say it ain't so!!!! I'm ... I'm ... shocked!
Way to dig your own grave, Clarett. _________________

So you got Clarett who is dying to play football in the NFL and you got Ricky Williams who doesnt want to play. If Clarett gets cleared for the draft, the Dolphins should take him

No apology(ies) needed, dochira. It's OK, I just felt a need to respond. We are right as rain (but not "rainbows," bwhahaha, 'cause I CAN'T STAND THE NICKN . . . OK, I've ranted enough about that one) .
Ah . . .

This one turns me into that famous "The thinker" statue. As much as I'm a fan . . . I, for one have to think about this one.
For now, stuff like Chang's jersey being retired to the collegiate football hall of fame (http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2004/Nov/09/sp/sp03p.html) is enough to make The Man and other UH and T. Chang fans happy enough (especially -- again, from my point-of-view -- since the collegiate football hall of fame's in South Bend, Indiana, a simple jersey acts as a little reminder to Notre Dame fans down there that their last foray with UH football has to do with a, ahem, ahem, CANCELLATION of scheduled matchup with the Warriors. And, uh, you talkin' to subway alumnus here ).

Heh, good observation.
Wonder how the Clarett and Williams saga will turn out.

No matter WHAT the Fish do, we will STILL squish them! As they say in western NY, Go Bills! Squish the Fish!
What happened to Ricky Williams, anyway? He was gonna be the saviour of that team, and becoz of the expanded competition, now with 8 Divisions, I kinda lost interest in it for a while. But I gether that Williams threw in the towel?

Sigh.
Sigh.
49-0, Fresno State over UH Warriors so far, beginning of the 2nd half.
National coverage (ESPN).
Sigh.
Do you want me to say more?
OK, how's this, heheh: 1) GOOD, GOOD, FRIGGIN' FINE EATS AT MY HOUSE (just ask the folks here ) WATCHING THE GAME AT LEAST; AND 2) T. CHANG's adding the numbers on the NEW (AKA, atarashi) NCAA passing record.

Must be my fault and my Warriors curse. I went out for sushi tonight and they were showing the game there at the sushi bar and I was watching it. Only saw the first half but it was brutal.
