lilyella, I knew "orenji" was going to be sung somehow but I didn't expect Nakai to choose it. I thought it would be Kimura. I was kinda hoping they would sing "Song 2:The Sequel to that" though.
Another piece of news that someone in the forum has already posted but no harm posting again...
Goro will be starring in a new dorama along with Hasegawa Kyoko next year and it's titled "M no Higeki". It will air in Japan (TBS) starting from Jan 16 .

yaya..this week sxs seemed very funny cos i laugh through out the show esp the two sumo, they are so kawaii man, next year winter season dorama seemed like is have better cast and not to miss Goro new dorama, kinda a new pair with Hasegawa Kyoko, it looked fresh to me!!! cos it liked a long time haven watch Goro's doroma as well as nanako dorama and yuko dorama, I liked them both, this winter season, no takuya's new doroma hopefully is during Spring time kinda a miss Takuya... Pray Pray...

oh ya.. I will not miss the smap drama which will be aired during Christmas times... hopefully someone will post them too... it a long time they had act together since 1999...
You can always go to online shopping i.e www.yeasia.com or cdjapan.co.jp or amazon.co.jp. Well, usually online shopping would be quite dear in terms of price.
I don't know who I like the BEST. I like all of them in the following order: Tsuyoshi, Nakai, Goro, Kimura, Shingo (at least this is the order right now, before it was Kimura, Goro, Tsuyoshi, Nakai, Shingo, then it was Tsuyoshi, Kimura, Goro, Nakai, Shingo, then to Tsuyoshi, Nakai, Kimura, Goro, Shingo).
I have watched a few of their concerts and even though they tend to sing many old songs over and over, I can never get tired of hearing them sing the same songs and seeing them perform the same dance moves. Also it is really nice to see how they do different renditions. Some of the fast songs, they will sing them either acoustic version or a slow version of it. Which I think keeps it quite interesting. Also, I like when they do medlies, and the medlies will have a music style theme to it (example: in Drink Smap concert, they did a Samba theme to the medley, this is early in the concert and they dance Spanish style -- that was cool). In their 2000 concert, they did a Disco theme and a Mission Impossible theme.
In some of their concerts, I like how they will take some American songs and the lyrics are replaced with Japanese lyrics. Also, the dance moves are always very hot.
In my opinion, I feel Kimura is the best dancer, followed by Nakai, Tsuyoshi, Goro, Shingo.
In terms of acting, Tsuyoshi is the best actor of the group, followed by Kimura, then Nakai. (I am recently watching "Suna No Itsuwa", wow!!! Nakai is so impressive in this, his acting is amazing. I have not finished watching it, but so far it is really good and intense. After I finish it, I think I may change my opinion about who the best actor of the group is... but then again, I am very heavily influenced by Tsuyoshi because I have watched him in nearly everything he has appeared in.)
Singing -- Kimura is the best, followed by Goro, Tsuyoshi, Shingo, Nakai.
Each member of Smap is special in their own way and each have their own talents.
I really enjoy watching Smap in concerts, tv shows, dramas, movies, music videos (clips). I just cannot get enough of Smap.

It's going to be titled as "�F�B�w~Say What You Will~" with lyrics/music written by Eric Clapton(!) and translated by Takeuchi Mariya. The F2 described this as a dream collaboration.

FINALLY, a new single after a more than 1.5 years!
The first line of the song is "Say What You Will" and I also saw these lines "Cause I needed a Friend" as well as "Good Love From Me to You", "�M���Ă��ꂽ�̂͌N", "�s������Ȃ�", "���̏Ί炪�@���� �E�C�h Muaha... The F2 clip didnt' show the whole lyrics!! The lyrics was published in one of the japanese papers(I think it's �����X�b�|�c) today! If anyone comes across it, can you please type the lyrics out if possible?

I'm sure the long wait is going to be worth it. By the sounds of the song title and the lyrics, it seems it's going to be good.
I have always enjoyed the majority of Smap's songs. There is probably only one or two songs that I have reservations about. But other than that, I like all their songs.
Should I watch 2046? I heard that Kimura Takuya's screen time is very little. I want to watch it, but I don't want to pay so much if he does not have that many scenes.

Hmm, the storyline alone is fine but then it's just draggy. Frankly speaking, I watched it mainly because of Kimura. Among the supporting cast, Kimura and Faye Wong has the most number of scenes. You can have a mini laugh at one of Kimura's scenes. His hair!

cuz i was so disappoint about Smap not have any cd or concert for 2004 that made me so sad and disappoint 
but now after reading your update i am so happy again 
i know they won't disappoint with the new song. and really pray 
they can release a full cd and have a concert in 2005.
