Actually the report came out from the major retailers, and if the thanksgiving sales numbers are to be believed, it doens't look like it's gonna be a very merry Christmas.

Numbers are way down.

i was just watching the news a few days ago, and they were reporting that sales were UP. they said that (maybe just in hawaii?) the sales are the strongest they've seen since 2001!! perhaps i was just watching a local piece, and not the nationwide picture? which report were you checking out?

I'm not sure where I heard, but apparently online shopping is up this year. And I'm one that hasn't started shopping for people. Sweat Maybe this weekend I'll head to the malls. Though gift cards don't sound like a bad idea anymore.

well, i'm not surprised that online shopping has been up. a few years ago, i told someone that i probably would never buy something off of the internet. now, i'm buying all kinds of things.

did anyone else notice that amazon and a few other online sites have gone down recently. took a few hours to get back up - or was that just me?? Crazy

So what's everyone going to be doing this holiday season besides spending time with family? Personally, I'll be watching Love Hina - Christmas Special for the 3rd year in a row. And I'll probably be rocking out to the newly released BoA - Merikuri on Christmas Eve all night long. Smile
