OMG RO = ebil after wasting my life for 1,5years on RO I'm glad that I quit.
and since I quit I finally have time to play other games now , currently playing NFSU2 which is fun, though yeah it seems to be the same cars and upgrade parts all over. When I first played it I felt like it was trying to ripoff Midnight Club, having to drive around the city to find you next location/challenging people on the streets etc. Also I don't like the comic style storytelling, brooke burk deserves better oh yeah the soundtrack of NFSU1 was decent, Burnout 3's was excellent, but here NFSU2's really horrible. Oftenly I turn off the music... go figure. NFSU2 isn't all bad though, everything looks beautiful, tracks and city is HUGE.
other game that I'm currently playing is Prince of Persia 2: yet again I'm very disappointed. Ubisoft tried to take PoP into a more darker mood, the game doesn't feel like Prince of persia at all anymore. The fighting system feels dodgy, it doesn't flow no matter how much you play. OMG again I need to mention the music: horrible metalmusic on the background of PoP =

I played Burnout 3 at my friends house. It was really cool. Is NFSU2 like Burnout 3.

My advice: stay away from RO really when you start getting addicted to it, there's no way back. it takes quite some effort to get 'strong' in RO, not to mention all the gear you need/want. Even though it's supposed to be an MMORPG, there's virtually no story, or missions to carry out. In the end there's not much else besides rivalry, hatred and greed.
Playing on private server might get your account banned, which means all the hard work gone (even though playing on private server makes things easier, like faster leveling, most private servers have 6-10X exp.) And you still need to pay for your acc.
as for Burnout 3: it's a totally different game than NFSU, in BO the main theme is taking down your enemy etc (fun factor is high), while in NFSU2 the main idea is get your car souped up as much you can, getting faster and upgrades ala Fast n the Furious style. I don't say that NFSU is not as fun, but after playing NFSU1 I'm not too impressed with 2 (read can't be bothered to do the same thing all over again eg. building my car from scratch etc)

my friend just bought warcraft 3 which was recently released. he's loving it so far. i, on the other hand, am playing 'maple story'. a friend from another forum introduced me to it. i've already played it for a week and it's pretty okay. someone above my post is playing it also which is koo. i have a love-hate relationship with this free mmorpg. i really hate that people steal your stuff, accuse you of stealing their stuff, "kill steal", and the difficulty in leveling up. right now, the game is in beta version so it's not final yet... so there will be times when the game goes down and/or you need to install a patch, but the game on the whole is playable. many people playing it, especially in channel 1. if you haven't played this game, you should try it... but of coz it's best if you have broadband. i remember downloading a few dramas and it caused the game to lag.

What level are you at in Maple? I haven't found levelling to be too hard, at least not yet. I'm only level 17 right now, so maybe the worst is yet to come.
One thing I like about Maple is that its easier to upgrade weapons since you can buy most of the stuff in stores. I played Priston Tale before and you would have to wait forever for people to sell good stuff to you.

So far its not too bad. I'm a magician, and only a few levels were really tough. (Those tough levels were the first couple after I became a magician). You gotta kill a lot of monsters (like any mmorpg). This game seems to focus more on the solo effort than the party scheme.

Here's my character in ragnarok online
/an it's a hunter! the most annoying class around, no way I can get the MVP when a hunters around, while my sin tanks the boss, you just snipe away safely from distance /bawi, not to mention that hunters are the richest of all ;p
I'd post pictures of my characters, but then I vowed not to get involved with RO anymore. I have a level 99sin, level 89 Wizard, level 7X blacksmit, level 7X Rogue (don't remember exactly anymore)

When you get the email it should have a your username, password, and a verification code. There's also a url that you need to input. Then you put in the username, password and verification code. I've heard people had problems signing up, but I didn't have any trouble. :X
