Shiroi kyoto is an awesome drama, I agree. But it's more to a politic side. But it is still awesome... other than that I don't know. But drama about doctors that I heard of is hello black jack, handoku. I don't know whether they're good or not.

I love Nanisama. Just started rewatching it a few days ago, and I rarely rewatch series.(out of the 70+ that I have, I've rewatched... like 5)
yeah, it was a good series. havent rewatched it yet though, there's just so many series coming out, not time to rewatch old ones... hehehe.
btw. the girl in nanisama also stars in Midnight Rain (one of th enew releases at d-addicts), so u migth want to give that a try as well. _________________
Odoru Daisosausen & Nanisama are both pretty good. Not much comic relief but its pretty strong story-wise.
Certainly both series deal with serious issues, but each one has more than its share of hilarious situations, imo.
Odoru Daisosausen, btw, was voted the number 1 all-time top dorama in a 2001 Japanese survey. This fact, along with much much more, can be found in an excellent reference book, The Dorama Encyclopedia: A Guide to Japanese TV Drama Since 1953, written by Jonathan Clements and Motoko Tamamuro. If you are a fan of dorama and/or would like to know more about dorama, this book is a tremendous resource.

cool. thanks for the info, i migth look that up someday....
Gonna add Midnight Rain to my recommendation as well. hehehe. Its a bit of a coincidence though that it stars the lead actors/actress in odoru and nanisama. hehehe. Its a medical drama I think; I've only watched 2 eps even so, it has already gained my attention. _________________

Midnight Rain-- now that's a very serious drama. But it does keep your interest all the way to the end. And the cast is really good, a number of well-known faces who have appeared in many popular series, in addition to the two leads.
Ryuuten no ouhi - Saigo no koutei is good too... A true story.. Takenouchi as the brother of a chinese emperor n Takako as the daughter of a rich Japan Lord... VERY nice n touching.. highly recommended..
Hey, can anybody recommend me to a jdrama. I have just finish watching GTO, Beach Boys, Beautiful Life, Long Vacation, Virgin Road. I especially liked GTO and Beach Boys, whats the next jdrama u think i should watch next?

Hello there i wanna know if there's any dramas bout just mainly the friendship or relationship of 2 good looking girls without any male interruption,or could be the guy defeated by the 2 girl's bonding.
i've known one,it's a movie, acted by fukada kyoko and one other gal,and also the one who acted the class monitor in the GTO drama(kubozuka yusuke)...it's quite a beautiful friendship shared among the 2 bishoujo, the title is "soshite, tomodachi"
