PostPosted: Mon Sep 20, 2004 11:25 pm    Post subject: Customer Service Rant Reply with quote Back to top

Every place I called and went this weekend had such bad customer service. I went to Target on Saturday and there were lines of about 6-7 people waiting finally the manager opens a register and shouts next then proceeds to ignore us until he says $5.94 and walks away before I can pay him without explanation only to return about 2 minutes later. U Suck The phone company had me on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected me by accident and when I called back they complained about how busy it was. Mad The lady at Albertons tossed the change into my wife's hand because she was busy complaining about some girl who got to go on break before her. So of course half the change fell on the counter and the floor which she ignored and continued complaining about how she works so hard and does not get a break. Angry

Sorry for the rant had to say it though. Especially after watching doramas and thinking back to how excellent all the service was in Japan. Bow

I HATE BAD AMERICAN SERVICE. I almost cry everytime I have to go to an American airport--they try to make you feel stupid and belittle you. Detroit is HORRIBLE. Chicago's O'hara is a little nicer. Japan is so sweet everytime I come.

It's getting worse, it really is., America The thing that got me was people PLOPPING change into my hand or not looking at me when they took my money or gave me my change. That REALLY made me feel like they thought I was BOTHERING them to be at the store.

The only good service you can get in America is at The Disney Store where they are usually highly trained and get fired like no tomorrow for being off-the-mark. But that's just my experience of Disney and my friends who have worked for them.

Japan really doesn't have as bad a problem as America these days...

What about other places, what's the service like nowadays?

I hate that as well. Sometimes I can't even understand what they are saying because of the thick accent. Something that should be done in ten minutes end up lasting for twenty minutes because I coudn't work out what they were saying.

Well there is one thing that can really bother me - and no, it doesn't revolve around a leaking faucet - lol

It's when you are around with your so called "friends" and when they bring their other friends over that you hardly know about - and they start acting all snobbish - that's what drives you nuts.

Like for example we were all laughing at a splendid joke, but suddenly, this creep who's a friend of a friend of mine suddenly stops laughing and says "Ahahahaha - shut up." That was just plain rude of course, and it got my friends ticked. Trust me, those kind of people with that kind of a blind attitude ought to be really bothersome as it is.

People who are not honest.
People who cannot accept the truth and reality.
People who beat around the bush and not tell things like it is.

Yup, saw the other thread on how much HD space is being taken up. But either it shows people are using the search feature correctly, or they have alot of time on their hands surfing through all those pages.

One of my coworkers is scheming against another one because that person is late for work pretty often. Problem in the person who is so concerned about the one who is coming in late keeps going home early and taking a long lunch. What is the difference? They are both doing the same thing just at different times. Bang Head I hate when people persecute others when they are doing the same thing. Beat You

Knee-jerk reactions bother me a lot.

Actually, knee-jerk reactions that turn out to be SO off-base.

And, for the record, I don't HATE the person making the knee-jerk reaction. I kinda' feel sorry for 'em.

ha, this is pretty true. hypocritical people can be quite annoying.

the thing that bothers me the most is corruption in the govt, police, etc.

Got to admit though, at least it's not spamming with a repeat topic of the old. Smile

And that's one of the things that bother me most. Beaten

Hmm I didn't bother to read through all the pages ofcourse hehe

what bothers me most atm is that I've been chosen to test the upcoming ADLS2 network (24mbit line!): lucky! w00t!

BUT first I have to get rid of my current dsl subscription and my ISP won't allow me to cancel it monthly anymore, due to change of policies since november 2004 Mad they never informed me about that, they claim that they did: through a newsletter, which normally contains the usual nonsense and adverts. so yeah I'm really pissed about this...

and oh yeah i'm hungry too and there's no food Shameful Cry

One word- "Rainbows Drive Inn" w00t! Yum!
And it's not like we'd want to run to the nearest "grease joint" available, either. Ewwww.
Although those places (fast food) are a dime a dozen around here (and assuming so, pretty much anywhere else), I trust that jholic has much better taste than that. Big Grin

You gentlemen ever try a place called "You Hungry?" or something like that? Right across the convention center toward Ewa side. I heard that place's food (plate lunches, etc.) is uka good.

And, perhaps I can offer a little script-ness here, with regard to the aforementioned eatery (it'll sound a bit familiar, but, I hope you friggin' laugh anyway):

Office worker A: "Eh, you hungry?"
Office worker B: "Oh . . . oh, yeah! Stay twelve-t'irty already, yeah?"
Office worker A: "K-den, we go. Where you like go?"
Office worker B: " . . . eh . . . uh . . . I dunno!"
Office worker A: "hmmmm . . . oh, I know! 'You Hungry?'!"
Office worker B: "Oh, yeah! I hungry."
Office worker A: "Oh, no, we go 'You Hungry?'"
Office worker B: "Oh, yeah, shoots, we go, d'en, and yeah, I tol' you I hungry."
Office worker A: "No, no, I mean the place, bruddah, 'You Hungry?'"
Office worker B: "What place?! Yeah, I keep talling you I stay hungry."
Office worker A: "D'as one new place? 'I stay hungry?' I know 'You Hungry?' but I never know 'I Stay Hungry.'"
Office worker B: [fumes] " . . . "bruddah, you making fun o' me."
Office worker A: "No, no, I just like know if you like go 'You Hungry?'"
Office worker B: "Yes, yes, I like GO and I STAY HUNGRY."

[O.K., folks, that's all I have. But, you get where this is going. The Man bows to the audience, who are thunderously applauding The Man's efforts.]

Good stuff, The Man. hehe

Is this the modern version of Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?"

My plan is to open a restaurant called, "Anything." So when you ask someone, "What do you want to eat?" ..."Oh, anything is cool"...."Yup, Anything is great. Let's eat there." Now, don't you get any ideas now, you here? hehe
