Rin, i wish i had been able to come online more often...my comp at home is down again and i've been staying in school for almost 12 hours everyday. Should just move all my things here... haha!
Vassia, Joe does sing. But the few singles he has released so far are very difficult to get. If you want to, you can get them from the Japan Yahoo! auction site. Warning though...most sellers won;t sell overseas
@Vassia...well it's true that Joe had a relationship with Miki Mizuno but not some middle aged woman. Miki and Joe are the same age anyway, however he was no longer with her now. He is currently rumored of dating another actress/Singer Shibasaki Kou. Then again I've no idea whether they are still dating or not. IMO, Joe and Kou look good together so let's hope they're still together.
*cough* ..yeah he does sing and I think I've posted his hideous CD Cover here.. BUT we have a chance to hear him sing in his new film "OPERA TANUKI GOTTEN" with Zhang " " Zi yi...
I dunno if it's out yet..hehe..I'm actually quite curious to see it Mixx..hhee..
Btw, Joe is schedule to be in a film called Big River directed by Atsushi Funahashi. So, he's going to be a guy called "Teppei" in tha movie. He will be starred alongside with an American actor, David C. Hayes. I believe Joe will have to speak in English in this one..hehe.. I think the movie is still in production..
The Big River is a post-9.11 American road movie that depicts an unlikely friendship between three characters.
The story opens with the main character, Ali (a Muslim man from Pakistan), searching for his missing wife. He has managed to get lost in the middle of the deserts of Arizona. Near Monument Valley, he picks up a hitchhiker. It is Teppei, a Japanese world traveler. Lost and miles from anywhere, they run out of gas. Teppei goes to search for a gas station, where he meets Sarah, a beautiful young American gas station attendant. They are held up at gunpoint by cowboy bandits. It is a bonding experience. Hearing of Ali's plight, she decides to help. It sounds a lot more interesting than staying in the trailer park with her alcoholic Grandfather. Teppei, intrigued by Sarah, joins the quest.
Overcoming racial profiling, prejudice and bad directions, they discover Ali's wife living in New Mexico. To his dismay, she is living with another man. He tries to force her to return to Pakistan, but she refuses. She prefers life in America. Helpless, he makes a deal. He puts their future in her hands. Ali spends his final three days in the U.S. with his new friends, anxiously awaiting his wife's phone call. During this time a subtle shift occurs: The story, instead of being about reuniting Ali and his wife becomes more about the value of friendship. By committing to helping one another, all three challenge themselves individually and become clearer about their own beliefs. Teppei, who has been a rootless drifter, finds love with Sarah. Ali, who has never faced the truth about his abusiveness toward his wife, realizes his blame. The final day comes with still no phone call. The three go their separate ways.
The Big River is a story about borderless realm of friendship and its ability to transcend culture
Differences.

About Big River..I've no idea. I discovered that from Imdb.com and it seems it's still in production. They just start the project this month so I've no idea when it's out. Hopefully sometimes this year..
The article is in Japanese, but basically it says that Kou is back with Issa of Da Pump. They were seen on a trip together in Okinawa on January 03 of this year. _________________

But this means that Joe Odagiri is available again..HAHAHAHAAHA..*er..what's that supposed to mean..girl..like you will get the opportunity to hit on him huh?*
Are people watching "fukigen iyana GENE(jiin)" ? It is hilarious, Yuuko-chan is lovely and great as usual and Odagiri-kun has gotten his typical "odd" role, his clothing looks brilliant. I love it.
Please watch "fukigen iyana jiin" if you are able to!!

Woo..what's that? another movie that I've missed?
Prayer Beads is a short drama...around 8-9 short stories. Think that if you watch the whole thing, you'll get the big pic of what the drama is trying to convey...
Jun, I've heard of fukigen iyana jiin...it's one of the latest dramas right? Will have to wait a while before i can get it here!
