Here if you buy a cookbook to your girlfriend, it could be the last time you see her.
I should really think about this *maccho*

you must not know many guys then because statistically male cooks are better than female cooks by a large number...i dont know if you know this or not but enter a french or italian restaurant and most, if not all, their cooks are male. My dad's a great cook. I love it. Unfortunately, like you dabbies, I too, cannot cook. One day, it'll just come to me. hahaha.

It meanschefs cheap or, if he paid full price for it, he doesnft know where the good bargains are. Either way, these are not encouraging signs | hehe speaking of "cheap" i know them signs so well specially seeing my mom's point of view towards my dad.. heck he never gives her anything not even a greeting
these are funny pointers hehe but flowers never worked for me, except the dinner thing, i love a man who cooks for me.. usually when he did something bad to make me angry, he'd bake a chocolate cake or treat me for sushi i'd forget everything. _________________

What are you guys talking about! chefs don't count: because it's their job
I do enjoy cooking and it saves me money too. (no more take away everday or instant noodles ) I'm lazy with other things though... like doing the dishes

Yes in France, it's like that.
Women and men are equal. So if you buy a cookbook to your girlfriend, she would think that you want her to stay at home and cook for you.
You would be "THE" maccho.
