I watched that one last night with my brother. It was his first time watching and about my 2nd or 3rd time. We love it. We never thought we could be so excited about some people cooking food. Anywho, I thought it was really close too. I would have had a hard time choosing, but I think I would have gone with the bibimba.

Cool.

There's a number of people here from that area, I think, most notably Mixxu-chan (Mixxdreamer)...

Enjoy your time here! Smile

Ah, that's a good point you bring up bmw, because if they're not getting the same episodes it will make it a little harder to discuss each week. We'll have to try to discuss two different episodes at the same time or something. Crazy Oh well, the point is that northern cali actually get the show, right?

All I gathered from the short time I watched was the white team (??) cooked something involving Kimchi.

I just noticed something. It's red vs. white, right? Is this Kouhaku ala Cuisine?

No...white...team?? I should watch an entire episode before commenting. It's like joining a conversation after it's began. There's no way you can contribute anything until you listen for at least a couple of minutes.... Beaten

That and there's no subs, so I'm trying to use my limited Japanese skills to read the characters.

Man, I would die without the subtitles. I just barely caught on at how the game works. I mean, I knew the basics (that there are two dishes competing), but I didn't really know how they tell who gets to eat until last time I watched it.

Yeah, the subs really help... I sorta watched off and on when they didn't have subs, but now I'm hooked... Big Grin

I've even got my brother and sister-in-law watching every Saturday... hehe
