She enjoys it when I buy her nice things. But isn't it "human nature" to be "happier" to get something "better" than you got last year? I mean, the whole repetitive thing (chocolates and/or flowers year after year), I mean c'mon. LAME. --Even if I were a chick. Duh, LAME. I'd bitchslap him. (But I'm not a chick)
The point is, you want to make your other 1/2 feel special. Being original and new would help. And of course, money (not necessarily spending more will do it, but in most cases it will) is a factor.
Also, doesn't giving (more than expected), create such an emotion, for your other 1/2 and yourself? | what a nice thing to do, although receivng chocolates and/or flowers is lame.. those are only good when you're like on your very first anniversary or something hehe though im not gonna bitchslap my bf if he got me either of those but he knows that im not into that (except the chocolates) what he likes about me is im not a materialistic person and i am easy to please specially if we're going to eat out haha well im not a fatass though i just love to eat to a fancy restaurant or whatever he cooks.
| Terryb wrote: | | my thoughts exactly, in the end it shouldn't matter at all what you're buying her - a more expensive gift doesn't make it necessarily better. | true, it shouldnt matter in the end but you made it seem like you just wanna give her whatever that is not 'meaningful' .. dont get anything that you think its nice that she might not like though hehe.. just like Aho said, original will help.. even if its a cheap gift try to make an effort putting something meaningful that she may remind of the good things you had with her.. i remember back 2 yrs. ago my bf was broke and he gave me toothbrush for xmas, yeh u may think its so cheap of him but it was our inside joke in the past that made me laugh, thats actually a sweet but weird thing to give _________________

shit man , that sux |
If you don't like what I have to say about V-day, either don't read it or don't reply to it. Isn't everyone entitled to their own opinions??!!
Plus, it's not like I'm buying flowers or chocolate for you.
| TANG wrote: | | wow, ........either you dont know women at all....or im just a very strange woman(and i am!) |
You ARE a strange woman. And perhaps I don't know women at all, but hey, isn't trying to figure them out (although pointless) worth something????!!!!!
| Terryb wrote: | | my thoughts exactly, in the end it shouldn't matter at all what you're buying her - a more expensive gift doesn't make it necessarily better. | I can't beleive I'm reading something like this from you
| Terryb wrote: | | As for chocolates n flowers, who still buys that shit for valentine? that's maybe good the first time... | Because this statement makes your previous statement a contradiction in itself.
| Terryb wrote: | | *stuffs chocolate in tang's mouth | You go ahead and do that. And have fun while you're at it. _________________

Since it's not Condolezza Rice or G Bush, there's no Problem. Tang is really nice when she sleeps enough
( She can understand French, because she studies French and got a B at her French exams. Maybe she needs a translator because she doesn't study very hard )

that's cheap-skate stuff man. Not to mention cheap skate methods. Is she trying to tell you that your breath stinks that bad? Or your teeth is jacked up and she can't afford braces for you?!

Almost everyone here knows that I like debates. (Especially bmwracer, akakage, mixxdreamer and [your boy] loveless)
(I use the term debate over argument because arguments involve a lot more hostility. We want to keep coinciding opinions on a friendly level now, don't we?! )
