Joe looks really good in these jidageki type costumes doesn't he? Must be the ponytail. He looked good with a ponytail in Shinsengumi, now he looks good with a ponytail in Operetta! _________________
About Zhang ziyi...why I got "bleh" in between? I don't like her. Why I don't like her? It's a long story and I could not be bothered to re-tell the whole background story.
That movie? anyway..Ziyi plays as Tanuki (racoon) who can turn into humans and fell in love with a noble man played by Joe. This is kind of remind me of those Chinese legends story i.e Whitesnake legend, Fox Legend..*cough* who just fell in love with those human hunk. LoL...

Yup, Joe looks great with ponytail surprisingly..
Thanks for the story synopsis. I vaguely recall the Green Snake / White Snake story. Used to know all that mythology stuff when I was 13.
It cracks me up that nearly the entire homme baakgwai population in the USA seems to think since Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon debuted, Zhang Ziyi is the hottest femme Chugokujin on Earth.
Compared to the Mabo and Ebizo galleries, not a lot of Joe pics here.

It's really hard to find Joe's pic or any of his articles. He's not like other actors who has news and info everywhere. He's one of those secretive one like Takeshi Kaneshiro, Ando Masanobu, Hideaki Ito ...*sweats*

i think the reason why aka doesnt like zhang zi yi cuz shes everywhere heheh, u know aka when u go here in the US, i noticed that they keep releasing movies with zhang zi yi in it, except for legend of zu heheh.. i think those virgin-eyed-asian-movie-watchers only knows like limited asian stars, like her, jet-li and jackie chan, and that cute asian guy from joy luck club/romeo must die hehe jk

hahah foreal i agree with your face expression.. to me, i like her, but shes not my favorite nor hot, i just think shes pretty but ive seen better

A lot of the magazines he appears in aren't normally sold overseas. If I wanted to get them I'd have to special order them from the Japanese bookstore here which is kinda expensive. _________________

Azumi! He looked pretty wild! I was watching the behind the scenes part of the DVD and they show him in costume smoking a cigarette. Just looked so funny for some reason! I started laughing when I saw that! _________________
