Mai Kuraki! Listened to her Fairy Tale and If I believe albums. Amazing! Liked the albums! Tonigh, I feel close to you -song, WOW! a superb piece! Her english vocal is one of the jpop best artists and not to mention the song sounds like Celine Dion-ish!

I liked most of the songs Applaud I highly recommend Mai Kuraki!
Must look for her English language album and some earliest works as well Smile

Go Mai go!

I did a little detective work. Tonigh, I feel close to you -song. Mai Kuraki did a collaboration with a Taiwanese pop singer Sun Yan Zi. found a PV of the song. Sun Yan Zi looks lovely Smile
PV was cut off, shorter Angry
The Celine Dion-ish vocal turned out to be Sun Yan Zi's, not Mai Kuraki's. Hehe! Mai chan's vocal still good although not close to Yan Zi's.
stupid me, should've had noticed about it earlier. I guess got blinded by the beautiful vocals of Sun Yan Zi Applaud Must look for her other works!

I highly recommend listenin to the song, Mai Kuraki&Sun Yan Zi - Tonight, I Feel close to you Excellent! Dunno how many times I have repeated the song Mr Green

Currently the whole market i think mostly only she and zhou jie lun, tao zhe and eason chan are really doing good music... quite sad actually. Would like to see more songwriting singers with their own style like chen qi zhen come out with something new... getting abit tired of commercialised boybands and pop.
