If you did it by phone, you'll get it right away. Usually, it took me about 4 weeks but damn...since I'm paying hella lot, I'm going to wait right before the cutoff date.

My accountant emphasized of problems her client has had by paying via payments to the IRS (ie. not having on record that you paid). My friend was contacted in 2000 for what they say, not having record of paying in 1997. (three years later) and he shredded his records by then.

I decided might as well pay it all off but it sucks....last time I paid, it was in the hundreds...not thousands. This is the only thing that sucks about having your own business.

I may consider buying a home for the tax credit.

Mreh. Got a call for a job interview on the same day I was taking the state exam Sweat I was at the exam, so I missed the call. I called back the next day, the phone rang like 12 times. Today I called in the morning, same thing. In the afternoon I finally got a voicemail and left a message. No call back yet. Bang Head I hate phone tag for jobs.

Tang: i guess if you work in an ice cream store, you can start to get tired of the stuff. i'm also lactose-intolerant, but for some reason, ice cream doesn't affect me. Crazy

drink a cup of milk, i'm gassy all day. eat a carton of ice cream, nada. weird.

To answer your question, yes I am aware of the restructuring of the company and it's affiliates. As far as I know, sales associates will not be affected. People in admin will be, however. Sad
But we'll see what happens. Never know. NO job is secure.

hadn't seen you posting here that often, and i was just wondering if that was a 'good' busy - or a 'bad' busy.

in any case, i wish you the best of luck!

by the title of this thread --- don't even get me started because if i get started about work then this thread will explode. really i think the majority of people are unhappy with what they are doing. i mean it is so sad cuz like i remember the days in school when one of my teachers (looked like he hated his job as a teacher or just plain hated having a job or having to work, he always had a dissheveled look and always looked haggard) anyways he said "you students look like you just "schlep" to school and later in life you will continue to "schlep" to work. who wants to "schlep" to school or "schlep" to work. and now that cannot stand the current circumstances of work now it feels like that quote is so true. just "schlepping" to work and not really giving a damn about anything about work. it is so sad that after going through such long and tedious humdrums in the educational system and studying the ass off and making the grade and now trying to get into working for a company is so damn hard. now just working in tiny little places and doing things that had nothing to do with the major that is on the diploma and nothing to do with anything learned. it is like what was the whole point of so much schooling -- ah i know it has to do with keeping students in school long enough so they don't go out into the workforce too quickly because of the fact that there are not that many jobs out there for so many graduates. this is awful. and plus the immigration of so many people does not help also. have the ability and know-how but people are not willing to give a chance. stuck doing shyt that is for a kid who does not need to have gone to too much school.

Thanks guys Hug I didn't do all that great but I did ok: 89/110. The test was kinda hard. The test was for someone who never did case work before but yet they were asking me questions about my state's policies and services in detail OMG So I had to skip a lot and go back to them, then narrow down and guess hehe I guess it didn't help that the test was 3 hours long bleh But it's just a state exam, they put you on the list for counties you choose over the next 2 years. My ranking will change as more people take the test Sweat

in general, ppl usually at the age of 5 have to start going to school and go to school for like almost 16 to 20 years (see, even being a student is already a career in itself) then after that everyone gets pushed into the work world where everything is competition and everyone wants to make money. and if students thought being a student was a challenge, boy they've got much more to worry about than they can ever imagine. hate work. hate it with a passion. it stinks, stinks, stinks. i know this sounds like griping but hey this thread is named the talk about work crap so here we go with the crap crap crap. it stinks. i don't understand why people cannot get along in the office. what is it? really. we are all in the same stinkin' boat trying to earn a living so that we can all survive in this world, right? how come people cannot come together and make things work and not try to oust others. and they don't want your lousy position, they just want to oust you just because they want to. they know nothing about you, they are not even in the same line of work as you are, they are just there in the freakin office doing nothing but strategize to get you ousted. what is this? how come people cannot behave, do their own f**king job, go to their d**n f**king home and call it a day. why can't some people just mind their own f**king business and let others make a living and leave them do their jobs in peace. no one has offended them and yet they just want to make trouble. these people who do that, make others lives miserable and trying to get people ousted, these people are the defects of society and defects of the working environment. it is so sad that the stink boss cannot see these defects because they are too d**n lazy and rely on their d**n secretaries and human resources to do every f**king thing for them.
