I was wondering. Have you heard if they went to the different locations for the "Da Vinci Code"? Or was it all done at a studio?

Man, I am a slave to subtitles.

It's be kind of cool watching Ryoko wander from Paris to Rome to Scotland.

From the bits and pieces and lousy Babelfish translations, she's on location...

That means more Ryoko-chan groupies. :hehe:

Here's a translated blurb from the Upcoming Dramas thread:

"Ryoko Yonekura closes in on DaVinci Code truth".

Ryoko will take on the role as guide in Fuji TV's first historical mystery programme to unravel the truth behind DaVinci's greatest mystery, based on Dan Brown's best seller "The DaVinci Code".

On location in France, she will follow the lore surrounding DaVinci's two masterpieces and visit Rennes-le-Chateau.

Tune in to find out the truth behind Davinci's paintings.

Guh, having a hell of a time trying to stream this video... Even here at work... It's all choppy. :puppydog:

Holy crap that's serious choppiness. I'll try to capture the stream and see if it's any better that way.
5 Mar 2005, 00:55 #7270
Mike, I captured the stream and it plays at normal fps now. Tell me how you want me to send it to you (email, IM).

Out of curiousity, what did you use to capture the stream? Maybe I could try using whatever software you used...

E-mail is fine, BTW.

Thanks. I owe you one.

I'm attempting to send it by email...attaching it is taking forever, it's 19.6 MB, and my email has a max of 20.

I used a freeware program called SDP, it only captures certain microsoft streams right now. I don't know if you can download it anymore, but the two sites are http://get.to/SDP or http://sdp.ppona.com
5 Mar 2005, 01:23 #7273
:bleh: I'm going to try sending it by gmail instead.

Edit: Wait a minute, can your yahoo account handle a file that big?

You should set up a Yahoo! account: 250MB...

Thanks, I'll check it out....

I was trying to use a program called StreamBox VCR, but it only downloaded 20% of the stream and said it was complete. :headscratch:

I'm sure you've heard of this alternative to GMail and Yahoo. http://s29.yousendit.com/. It'll let you attach files up to 1GB in size.
5 Mar 2005, 02:23 #7276
Thanks dochira. I never heard of that one before. Actually, Mike got the SDP program, hopefully he can get it too.
