This class IMO was less convincing as troubled kids (WAY too many pretty boys compared to the first season... the first class was pure bad asses) but now I'm convinced that they are better actors. I can't believe Gokusen is over now. I'm gonna miss those guys.
I like how the ending could potentially allow another season. I would definitely watch another season of Gokusen even without Nakama as the teacher.�@Maybe the TV ratings that reached higher than 30% could convince NTV to produce another season!?

Yankumi never listens to him, and have different views, so the principal wants to get rid of her ASAP. He is pissed off because he failed to fire her once again, and the graduation is coming soon. Her contract was originally set to 3 months only, so he thought he wouldn't have to deal with her much longer. But since that rich old woman in the bus (episode 7) forced the principal to extend her contract, he needs a reason to fire her before the graduation to get rid of her.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll watch ep. 10 now and I'll see if I can understand it fully. I hope I will!
btw, i just love TAKEDA Keita !!! he's so kawaii with those hairdos he changes every episode...he's the friendiest of them all too!!!

i totally agree. i definately fell in love with teppi in this drama more than any other character (though i do like kamejin). omg tecchan is so so so adorable!! if you go to his official website, he writes a short comment to his fan EVERYDAY! that's pretty impressive, and now i'm looking forward to new message everyday. it's sad that gokusen ended, but he has a movie coming out in spring so something to look forward to!
btw, i was wondering, did anyone watch or capture gokuse the behind th scene special they had about a week ago? i'm dying to see that, and if someone has it and can upload that would be great!
I only watched up to episode 7...I'm almost done...I love Akame..they are good actors...but I felt that the 2nd season was less indepth than the first season with the teachers and all sorts....but if there's gonna be a 3rd season...I'm going to be tired of it....second season was my limit....but I like Koike Teppei...I loved his character!

Yeah Koike is a singer, he's in a group called WaT with Wentz Eiji, (Eiji was in Lion Sensei) but I haven't heard any of their stuff... _________________

I definitely have to agree with you. Gokusen 1 was much better with personalizing the cast with the audience. Each character: teachers/students/Yankumi's family had a specific personality. However with Gokusen 2, they seemed to just disregard the other teachers completely. They were just background characters at most.
As much as I like "Gokusen" series, I'm not that ecstatic about a third season. Sigh. I miss Sawada Shin. _________________

Gokusen 2 seems to be more popular because a lot of people watched Gokusen 1 after it was shown on TV. Most people who watched Gokusen 1 will watch Gokusen 2.
Anyway, can someone please tell me what Yankumi said on the stage. I don;t understand japanese. And also what she said to the students to make them go to the graduation ceremony.

Basically Yankumi talked about what the world has to offer kind of speech, convincing them that 3D are not bad, they have grown and everyone has a chance to be better....
What she said to convince them to go to graduation was how even though people make mistakes, there's still possiblilty to fix it, chance to change your ways...
The Principle knows that Yankumi is a decendent of the Yakuza and doesn'e like how she's going against his authority, his plan to get rid of 3D...she's one step ahead of his plot, and he wants her out inorder to perform his plan to change the school.... _________________
